Text to Speech — Listen to Any Text Aloud
Paste an article, email or notes and listen instead of reading. Uses the voices already installed on your phone or computer — works offline after the page loads, and your text never leaves the device.
Quick answer: Free text-to-speech that reads any text aloud using your device's built-in voices. Adjust speed and pitch, choose a voice, no upload, no character limit — private by design.
How to use
- Paste or type text — any length; it is read locally.
- Choose voice, speed, pitch — try your system's enhanced voices for the most natural sound.
- Press Play — follow along; pause or stop anytime. Nothing is uploaded.
About this tool
This reader uses the Web Speech API built into your browser: the same offline voices your phone's accessibility features use. Pick a voice, tune speed and pitch, and press play — even long articles stream sentence-by-sentence. Honest note: voice quality depends on your device (Chrome and Edge on Windows/Android usually ship the best neural voices), there is no studio-grade narration, and it cannot save an audio file — it is a reader, not an exporter.
